‘내일의 물건’을 뜻하는 투모로우 오브젝트(Tomorrow Object)는 주변을 둘러싼 모든 시, 공간을 ‘프레임(Frame)’을 통해 재생산된 이미지를 모티프로 작업한다. 프레임은 개인의 틀이라는 경계로 작용할 수 있고, 프레임을 마주하는 것은 그 경계를 통한 연결점을 찾는 과정이기도 한다. 디자이너 류연주는 서울에서 느낄 수 있는 순간을 프레임에 담아 작업했다. 또한 서울의 공간과 형태, 시간과 색채를 느끼고 공유할 수 있도록 거울 오브제, 주얼리를 아크릴과 필름, 자개, 금속 등 다양한 소재로 표현했다.

‘Tomorrow Object’ signifies ‘Object for tomorrow’. All works contained the detailed story of time and space surrounding me. A frame, or an object, becomes a border expresses the Self. Also, encountering a Frame is a process in which we discover connections across the borders. I conveyed the moments and feelings of Seoul in the form of the ‘Frame’ which is composed of various kinds of materials.
