디자이너 전찬우는 용산 상설 매장에 입점해 있을 당시 외국 관광객들의 선물 아이템으로 북패드가 인기있다는 것을 발견했다. 이 경험을 바탕으로 ‘알리올라(Agliola) 북패드’를 만들었고, 서울색의 새로운 버전으로 개선해 크라우드펀딩을 성황리에 마친 바 있다. 이때 적용한 색상은 단청빨간색, 남산초록색, 서울하늘색으로, 특히 2008년에 서울시가 선정한 서울하늘색은 버스, 택시, 공공시설물 등 도시환경에서 계속해서 사용되고 있다.
