디자이너 최원서의 ‘Pattern Of Industry’는 산업현장에서 주로 사용하는 기능적인 재료인 알루미늄 프로파일을 심미적인 새로운 시각으로 바라봄으로써 시작되었다. 프로파일의 단면 형태는 기능에 의해 우연하게 형성되었지만, 디자이너만의 새로운 시각과 방식으로 재조합되어 ‘기하학적 문양’이 돋보이는 리빙 제품으로 탄생한다. 이번 전시는 ‘Pattern of Industry’를 통해 우리의 일상에 새로운 문양이 새겨지길 바라는 의도를 담고 있다.

‘The Pattern Of Industry’ is a artfurniture converting aluminum profile, which is a functional material mainly used in industrial sites, into a new aesthetic substance. The cross-sectional shape of the profile is formed accidentally by function, but it is recombined with the designer’s new perspective and method to create a living product with geometric patterns.
